Well, I watched the late night news yesterday, after coming back home from work.

SI'm mostly cut off from all kinds of media at work (except for my PC including the office stuff that's on it), I barely get to see any news during the day. So I always have to do this at home, late in the evening.

I received a shock when I watched the late news on Friday! Michael Jackson died at the age of 50...caused by a cardiac arrest.

In this moment, a part of my childhood died....as a kid, I was a geat fan of Michael Jackson. Whenever I hear a song of him nowadays, I have a certain memory of an event from my childhood. Michale Jackson was the idol that every kid needs. He belongs to the most popular people around the world. He is the everlasting King of Pop. With him, the last real great superstar of this world died. I don't think there will ever be another one like him again.

I have to admit I was feeling tears in my eyes when I heard the news- but then.....

...I felt happy. Happy for the man. He never belonged into this world somehow. He was terribly misunderstood by so many people. He was kind of helpless in this world. He was a lonely child in an adult's body....

....but ow that he's gone from this world, he finally is where he realy belongs to- in the olymp of those great idols like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, James Dean, Kurt Cobain, and many, many other.....

....and I'm pretty sure he's making up with all those things he missed in his worldly life! By now, he's sitting together with the one and only Elvis Presley, and they're having a hell of a party together!!!!! The King of Pop meets the King of Rock'n'Roll, and they are simply sharing their genious ideas- what a great thought.

Michael Joseph Jackson, it was an honour to have you on this planet, as a part of us. Your music helped a million people, it healed a million wounds, and it's our great loss that you're gone- but I hope you'll enjoy your everlasting life in the walhalla of super stars....
